Paula Scher, Type is Image
Paula Scher is a logo designer and type artist. She creates incredible type designs and some of the most recognizable logos around (citibank, anyone?). "Adobe Studio Presents" has an interesting interview with her as well as some beautiful examples of her work.

Richard Coldicott - I woz ere is a ultra-cool piece of stop-motion animation using paint and lots of it. It takes place in a basement, not unlike the one I am standing in right now. Great soundtrack too (DJ Shadow).

yU co Opens ABC's "Desperate Housewives"
yU + co Opens ABC's "Desperate Housewives". A few weeks ago someone asked me about this open and if I'd seen it. It's Carnivale meets Monty Python's Flying Circus. There is a Quicktime and a nice article.
